Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions are applicable to the quotation submitted for audit and certification of your management system:

  1. Client will pay 50% initial stage 2 audit fee on signing of contract & remaining 50% initial audit fee after stage 2 audit and before issuance of certificate.
  2. The prices quoted shall be valid for a period of 90 days from date unless agreed otherwise.
  3. Certification validity period in accordance to ISO 17021-1 and the certifiable standard/s.
  4. This contract is valid from the date it is signed to the certificate expiry date.
  5. After three years on completion of certification cycle a mutually agreed inflation rate will be applied upon recertification.
  6. The contract automatically renews for subsequent cycles unless one of the parties has expressed the intention of termination through a written notice.
  7. In case of adding a site/facility and address changes that requires audit, a new contract shall be signed but no changes shall be made in the contract validation period. The validity period of the certificate is based on the first certificate date and a new contract shall be signed for the amendment.
  8. Terms of payment: Unless agreed otherwise:
    • Invoice for each phase will be sent 15 days ahead of the audit and the auditor will submit the original invoice prior to starting the audit. The payment will be collected during the audit.
    • The above listed pricing are net, any applicable taxes or extra charges will be covered and paid by the client.
    • Audit report and other post audit activities shall commence only after all payments have been completed.
    • Undue delay in payment may result in cancellation of audits.
  9. Any man-days or audit time or audit rescheduling or audit relocations shall incur extra charges which will be covered by the client.
  10. Any postponement of audit or cancellation of audit within 14 days prior to commencement of scheduled audit will incur charges which will be covered by the client.
  11. Any additional man-days or other expenses incurred for the audit due to reasons outside our control shall be invoiced at the man-day rate in addition to the other expenses.
  12. Delay in or failure of performance of either party shall not constitute a default or give rise to any claim for damage if caused by events beyond control, including but not limited to war, natural disaster, fire, explosion, labor dispute, or international sanctions. The affected party shall notify the other party in writing of the causes and expected duration.
  13. Payments can be made by Cash, Cheque or Bank Transfer.
  14. The address of the Organization in this contract is considered as the legal address for all announcements and correspondences.
  15. Service is as per Scope and Audit durations are approximate, both subject to confirmation, amendment or withdrawal during Audit visit. DAS reserves the right to subcontract auditors with appropriate experience to deliver the audit services.
  16. The audit team or the certification body do not accept any consequential damages or liabilities.
  17. Once certification has been approved we will issue you with a Certificate of Registration in PDF format, which has a defined expiry date. This Certificate will also be made available on our Certification Register.
  18. Changes requiring reissuing of a certificate within the 3-year period (such as changes to address, company name, etc.) will be charged per certificate.
