The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) is a business-driven initiative established by the Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) to ensure safe food for consumers worldwide. GFSI benchmarks and recognizes food safety certification schemes that meet internationally accepted food safety requirements.

GFSI does not certify companies itself, but it recognizes food safety standards that are benchmarked to its criteria.

Purpose of GFSI Recognition
Harmonize food safety standards globally.

Reduce audit duplication across the supply chain.

Promote food safety culture and regulatory compliance.

Ensure buyer and consumer confidence.

DAS is offering GFSI recognized certifications of FSSC 22000 and BRCGS through SMG Inc Canada.
